BotDetect CAPTCHA Localizations

This page lists all fully supported BotDetect CAPTCHA locales (for which both localized Captcha images and Captcha sounds are available) and related downloads.

Localization Deployment

Captcha images for all locales can be drawn with just the base .dll, while localized Captcha sounds also require sound package files with pronunciation sound data.

To make localized Captcha pronunciations available to your applications, you have to deploy the .bdsp files downloaded from this page to the BotDetectSounds folder they use:

• ASP.NET applications use Bin\BotDetectSounds by default. A custom folder can be specified in the <botDetect> configuration section.
• ASP Classic applications use Redistribute\BotDetectSounds in the BotDetect installation folder by default. A custom folder can be specified in the BotDetect/CaptchaConfig.asp file.

Pronunciation sound packages for North American locales are included in BotDetect installations, and by default located at:
